The end

We have now finished our 17 days to make a difference in our community.

This task taught us how to do things we don't usually do and to do things without being asked. I enjoyed this as i got to help others. making this blog was also a lot of fun because you can customize it and change all the colours! This site is really cool, you can put heaps and heaps of stuff on it.

I think everyone enjoyed this task but it was a shame it was only 17 days long!

Day 16

Today is the sixteenth day of my 17 days to make a difference.

Today when we were doing our managing self task, we had to write out how we manage our selves. I was going to type up mine when Tyneesha, Alex and Courtney had to go to basketball. I decided to type up theirs as well. The site we were on needed a username so I quickly asked Tyneesha hers but didnt get to ask Courtney or Alex. So I decided to do mine quickly then do Tyneesha's as well. I unfortunately didn't no Courtney's or Alex's so I couldn't do theirs. I type pretty quickly so it didn't matter if I did one or more. I got mine and Tyneesha's done way before the bell. I was very happy I helped her as I hardly ever type up other people's work. It was fun too as I didn't have to go to class and do nothing for the last 10 minutes or so.

Day eleven

Today is the eleventh day of our 17 days to make a difference.

Today while we were playing volley ball for our team P.E, ( which was really fun! ) our teacher Mrs Dada said that if you can volley or dig the ball over the net you can get a green card. Green cards are really good as if you get one you get points for your house and it goes towards the total points for our house at the end of the week. I dug and volleyed three times so that meant I got to have three green cards. Mrs Dada made a mistake and game me four. I didn't realise until I got to the place where you need to put it in. So I put my cards in for my house, which is MIRO!!Then I took the last card and placed it into Rimu. Rimu at our school is coming last so I decided to help their house. I felt good about this as I helped out another house that was a bit far behind.

Today is the second day of our 17 days to make a difference.

Today I decided to make a difference by taking my mum and dad's plates to the kitchen. I did this while they relax and watched TV. I then washed them and placed them in the dishwasher.I then put their dinner trays away. This little thing made a difference to their day as they got to spend a bit more time relax than having to do chores.
